How do you define being a mother?

I have often thought about how everything in our lives are defined in absolute terms. Things are either good for us or bad for us. The answer to a question is yes or no.  I think that there are somethings which can not be defined in absolutes and must be defined with the heart. One question that can only be defined by the heart for me is what makes a mother. 
When I found this quote I knew that I had found the perfect definition of what makes a mother. I have heard the stories of many women who have lost a pregnancy or lost a child at birth and each feel that they are mothers  of angels. I am lucky enough to be the mother of a little boy and everyday I thank life for this chance.  I know that I am lucky to have him told hold in my arms while holding my other kids in my heart,

    Acceptance

    Acceptance is the stage where were the loss is acknowledged and given its rightful place. It is the point in grief where people move on with their lives while honouring the loss in their own way.
