I have loved this book and author for a long time. He has a way of making literature come alive. I always thought it was a lovely story about the unconditional love of a parent. In a way it is and another way it is not. I have made the picture a link to the story behind this book. In short it was originally a song to his 2 babies who were born still born. While I have not experienced this type of perinatal loss, i still find it touching and powerful story.  I have always had a feeling in my heart each time I read this story that it was based on a very personal story. After learning his story I don't think I can read it the same way again.

    SILENT HEARTS

The event is in its second year and I am glad I was able to participate in it last year. It is a great event and a great way to raise awareness regarding Perinatal Loss. Perinatal loss includes may times from miscarriage to still births.
